LUSTING FOR MY LOVER, TEMPTED BY ANOTHER
Always a very good student, Ty finds himself floundering in college. He misses Garrett horribly, and being a shy introvert is keeping him isolated.
While spending countless hours fantasizing about previous sexual exploits with Garrett helps to control Ty's raging hormones, it's not helping his mood nor his grades.
Ty's emotional pain is so intense he fails to notice a lasciviously gorgeous classmate named Tanner. With two closely guarded secrets and one big problem, Tanner's instant desire for Ty's stunning good looks is another problem. How does he figure out if Ty is gay?
Can Tanner get Ty to talk? Will he figure out if Ty is gay without breaching his own secrets? Is he going to be a shoulder for Ty's pain? Will this hawt duo share an emotional friendship or maybe even get into each other's pants?
I can't wait to find out. What about you? Click to find out!
*This book contains explicit scenes of a gay sexual nature by consenting characters who are over 19 years of age. It is intended only for readers who are 18+ years of age. If you are underage or may be offended by this topic, do not purchase this book.

First things first: The review. This book takes us to a new, bitter chapter in Ty's life as he learns what it's like to be without his boyfriend. I like how the author played with him, giving the character enough space to develop, be something else than a horny boy (not that I mind, mind you,) and show a human, vulnerable side of him. There's a good balance between kink and feelings, with a bit of preference towards the later, so maybe we can wait more about the first one in the next books?

Carnal Anguish doesn't have much sex, mostly based in our guy's feelings, what it is like for him to be in a brand-new environment, a place he doesn't know about, and his fears regarding Garrett. I really liked this part of it because it showed that Ty Debauchee can write an interesting story without adding much sex; however, the scenes we get are steamy enough if you ask me.

Although it's a bit obvious what will happen after Carnal Anguish, I'm eager to see how it will happen. Ty Debauchee has a good hand to create interesting stories with a rather small cast of characters, and this worked particularly well in this book. Also, with so many intense feelings and putting his main guy in such a problematic position, you can only wait for a wild ride. The good news is that the second and third book in the series are out as a double feature!

Now, for the news! I was the editor for this book! I'm so excited and I oh-so wanted to share the news with you guys! I've edited books in the past, mostly for my friends, and it has been a long while since I did this because I decided to take a rest from it to focus on my own things. However, as a reviewer, I always noticed bits of this and that, details and aspects of the books I was reading that could improve. I've been in contact with Ty since I started reviewing Desire, and was gladly to say yes when we started talking about me editing the first book in this new series. I wanted to be able to help more than just by reviewing because I've enjoyed his work a lot (no sh*t, Sherlock). You could say I'm a bit biased because of this, but I'm speaking only as a reader. As an editor, I'm glad I was able to help Ty Debauchee with this book. ^^

About Ty Debauchee:
As an energetic man at 6’4” tall and 195 pounds, I very much enjoy athletic pursuits including basketball, waterskiing, and snow skiing. While having a quiet and shy personality, I value my integrity above all else with loyalty to my friends and family coming in as a very close second.
Growing up with the stress of gay urges in a straight world and struggling to find my place in the world, I frequently used my dreams and fantasies as an emotional crutch to get me through some very challenging times. By sharing these stories in my books, I sincerely hope to ease the stress of others who might be facing the similar challenges and offer an entertaining escape for anyone in need. Website.
