Manhwa: Hyperventilation

I've wanted to read something smutty, romantic, wholesome, maybe with fantasy. The kind of story you'd daydream with and with beautiful art. And as the saying goes, "ask and you shall receive", and ow did I get it. I devoured Hyperventilation, by Bboung Bbang Kkyu, in no time. Thanks to the publisher for sending me a review copy!

  • Print Length: 192 pages
  • Publisher: TokyoPop (June 29, 2022).
  • Expected publication Date: June 29, 2022.
  • Genres: Drama, Gay, Homoerotic, Romantic, Yaoi.
  • Rating: 4 / 5 stars.
Myongi and Sunho haven't seen each other since they were 18 years old. Now 27, they run into one another at a high school reunion, and the romantic feelings they had for one another come rushing to the surface. But are they the same people now that they were back then?
This book contains sexual content and is intended for an audience aged 18 years and up.

I need to start saying that the art is simply gorgeous! I could get lost in those colors, lights, tones, and chiaroscuros. Even the simplest things look beautiful, and there's something poetic in how the story develops, although it is true that it's too simple, maybe one of them simplest stories I've read in a long while, which is exactly what makes it so refreshing and loveable to me.

It didn't take any time to get into this pretty world filled with colors and feelings, each complementing the other, an atmosphere so calming that could become erotic without being vulgar. It bothered me at first that it was censored, for sure, but now looking at the whole thing it's not such a big deal.

As you might expect, the lack of development was a double-edged sword. I ended up wanting to know more about how those feelings started, what happened that made these guys decide to have an adventure to begin with. There are several details missing. While it makes it all the more dreamlike, the practical side of me still wants to know more about what happened before and why things happened now.

All in all, Hyperventilation is a beautiful story that makes you smile and fills you with wonder. It reminds you of that long-time crush you couldn't forget even though years have passed, maybe even a love you thought forbidden. Bboung Bbang Kkyu is an incredible artist who I want to see more of.

Kinky regards, K!

Sexdays: Practicing with Bisexual Fire

Do you know that moment when you, unconsciously, recover something you did in the past and do it just the same? I started going to the gym again, and when I was looking for a boost to keep going I did the same thing I did the first time I tried working with bisexual fire. A few nights ago I did something different, and it worked as well. Today I want to share those experiences with you.

While running on the treadmill, running out of breath, I used some of the air I still had in my lungs as I visualized a ring made of pink fire around. The next time, I did two, and three the one next to it. Basically, I surrounded myself in a scorching, fabulous pink sphere.

Of course I was sweating because of the exercise, but after that I felt both much warmer and more energized, so I kept doing it until I couldn't take it anymore. After doing it several times, I know it works for me, and will keep honeying that practice. For me, this is related to the Fighting power of bisexual witchery, a way of using erasure and misunderstanding to feed our will. And also an excuse to convince myself to go exercise.

The three rings looked just like this,

Something I found quite curious was that out of nowhere I could picture myself with antlers on fire and claws, and then a peacock tail, the whole thing, open on my back. I didn't intend to shape-shift of try anything like it, and it wasn't until writing this article that I remembered it. Working with spiritual animals*, I connect with nobility (not as in royalty) and peacock with beauty.

Also, one night, while listening to some music, I was feeling low, emotional, sad, and wanted a way for my feelings to escape. Without thinking, I visualized a small flame in my heart and moved my hands as if to take it and then spread it all over my chest, feeling better right away. You can say even breathing felt better. I was still sad, but calmer and more relaxed.

I'm wondering if I could also use it for divination, give it a try with spellcasting, although I've neglected that second one and, honestly, was never a fan of doing them in a regular basis. I don't have a deck related to sexuality, but I will let you know how it goes, and if you decide to try it in any way, let me know as well!

Kinky regards, K!

Poem: The Boy in White

I stay in silence, waiting for lightning,
I swallow my words to keep on standing,
Muscles numb, voices off,
I wait in silence, I wait in silence.

Plans unravel, they fail, I fall.
Not a sound is heard, a voice so stale.
Bottled up emotions, they stay, I cry.
Silence, silence. At night I pray.

Days go by, won't take my hand.
Feeble body, noisy thoughts.
A prison cell with not a wall.
The sun is swallowed by the clouds.

Mind shatters with every hour,
One is a hundred, thousands, a burden.
Mind shatters as I go closer,
Each piece a name in my shoulder.

Son of stone, son of clay.
We rise at night, we pray by day.
Without a name, without a face,
We rise and fall in our regrets.
We pray in silence, pray for silence,
It's all we know, all we love,
It's all we have, it's all we are,
Silent heart, and silent minds,
Numbed in life, yet not alive.

Manga: Zombie Hide Sex Vol. 2

Rise and shine, pornies! I hope you're in the mood for some horror and romance, also blood and zombies, because today's manga in filled with all those. Today I come with Zombie Hide Sex Vol. 2, by Yuo Yodogawa. I read a fan translation by Tenshi no Akuma Scans since there is no not an official English release right now; please support the mangaka if possible.

  • Print Length: 182 pages
  • Publisher: Houbunsha (July 29, 2019)
  • Publication Date: July 29, 2019
  • Genres: Gay, Fantasy, Horror, Zombies
  • Rating: 4 / 5 stars.
Chigasaki, bitten by a zombie, narrowly manages to pull through, thanks to help Mishiba, who begins to realize that her feelings for him run deeper than he thought. While taking refuge in a research center, the two men meet other survivors, and Mishiba feels the sting of jealousy when Chigasaki reunites with a former colleague from the army. More than anything, he is afraid of losing Chigasaki, but the cure for Chigasaki's infection is only temporary, and the virus is still there in his blood, biding its time...

I re read the first volume right after dwelling this one, and I just want to add that the story has a lot of dubious consent, so if you're uncomfortable with it you might better skip it. However, what started as an alliance with some abusive overtones quickly turned into a healthier and more common romance. Mishiba and Chigasaki are far from being a perfect couple, but they make it work.

We get to know more about what it's happening in the story, how the zombie virus got started, and there a few scenes that bring you to the edge. Yuo Yodogawa did a good job more than once playing with the atmosphere and the elements of this story. While it's true that it has a few clichés, they work very well, making Zombie Hide Sex Vol. 2 a very entertaining reading.

On the not so bright side, I have to say that the development is a bit rushed. I expected something more detailed, situations a bit more uncomfortable, but some events lacked emotions, and there's also the issue that the romance is not fully exploded. I get that this is a highly erotic manga, but it had all the right ingredients to create something dramatic, psychologically complex, yet it fell a bit flat.

All in all, Zombie Hide Sex Vol. 2 is a reading that entertains and makes you travel to a world that is horrifying and alluring in equal measure. While it's true that it could be better, it's effective and tells a story that stays with you after a while, even taking many risks regarding morality and dependency. It can be a challenge for some readers, but in the end I loved the chiaroscuros.

Kinky regards, K!

Porn review: Spin the Bottle

Hi, pornies! It's been A LONG TIME since I published one of these, but I recently found this scene and I had to talk about because JUST. WOW. I'm sure you're gonna love it. I sure did! I'm speaking about Spin the Bottle, with Aspen and Michael DelRay. It was officially updated for free on PornHub, but get it on HD through the Studio's website.

  • Runtime: 00:36:13.
  • Studio: Next Door Taboo.
  • Year: 2020.
  • Actors: Aspen, Michael Del Ray
  • Direction: Walden Woods.
  • Rating: 4,5 / 5 stars.
Aspen, Michael Del Ray and their friends are playing spin the bottle and having fun pushing their limits. Things get a little nasty when the two stepbrothers have to kiss each other and become a little too into it for their friends. Good thing they're leaving, because they needed the space for themselves.

There's not much I can say about the setting. The first scenes are too quick, the acting not that good either, a bit exaggerated for a moment or two. However, the good news is that it gets interesting pretty soon and while I've seen a few people complaining that it was the perfect beginning for an orgy, it is great just the way it is. Maybe we can dream about a sequel?

Either way, this scenes was everything it needed to be and maybe even a bit more. Michael DelRay was an actor I came across recently and I've loved everything he's done, Spin the Bottle being possibly one of my favorite ones so far because of his performance. While it is the first time I watch Aspen, I'm already in love with his because of his stamina and dominance. He certainly leveled-up the whole thing when took control, and don't get me started on his riding skills!

The point-of-view segments added another layer of charm to the video. I've seen some praise for Walden Woods direction, and I can only agree. POV is used at its best to make sure it will be effective, making you feel you're right there with these guys, becoming one of them. If it was up to me, I'd rather be Michael to enjoy Aspen, I must confess.

There's hardly anything bad to say about it, not even the technical details are lacking in quality, Great photography, setting, sound, acting, a simple yet good script that works wonderfully, and two actors with undeniable chemistry. Spin the Bottle has only minor details that could have been better, like a better beginning, and maybe the length, longer than I thought necessary, but anyone can enjoy such a wonderful view.
