Review: Divine Masculine Healing Oracle

Among the storms that I see nowadays, I see a rise in toxic masculinity and misogyny that we should all be worried about. As witches, healing should be one of the backbones of our practice, and so, when surrounded by all this mess, what better way to respond than shadow work? Hence, my recommendation of today: the Divine Masculine Healing Oracle, written by Christabel Jessica and with art by Cecilia G. F. Thanks to the publisher for the copy to review!

  • Publication Date: May 8, 2025.
  • Publisher: Llewellyn Publications.
  • Page Count: 176 pages.
  • Card Count: 44 cards.
  • Dimensions: 5 x 1.44 x 6.72 inches.
The ancient gods have returned, guiding us to rediscover lost parts of ourselves and safeguard the sanctity of life. Throughout history, masculinity has been severed from the sacred―but it's now time to embrace the insights from diverse pantheons and break the cycle of disconnection.
This oracle celebrates the resurgence of a healed and integrated masculine energy, unlocking his honor and integrity. Created for those seeking a reunion with forgotten facets of their divinity, these cards reveal profound teachings inspired by the mythologies of many cultures, past and present.
Designed to complement the feminine archetypes, the Divine Masculine Healing Oracle offers transformative wisdom via messages from Shiva, Horus, Eros, and other deities from around the world. Embody the Divine Masculine within, and liberate the suppressed parts of your personal power, now and forever.

My first thought when I saw this deck was "wait, it is done by two women... what could they know?" And that was the reason I decided to give it a try. We men tend to be disconnected from our own sensitive, emotional side, which might be more obvious to others. And boy was it obvious when I read the book and saw the cards.

The Divine Masculine Healing Oracle addresses many of the problems men face today, offering guidance and support wherever needed. It is not a toxic-positivity-infused deck of cards, however. What you find is an honest approach to what many of us experience throughout our lives, explained in clear language and with gorgeous artwork.

However, there were a few cards whose meanings I disagreed with, so I recommend people also learn directly from the myths about the figures included in this deck. Some of the stories are not aligned with the meanings explained, and the artwork on some cards does not match the meaning either. It was somewhat confusing, but if you are comfortable using a more intuitive approach in those cases, then it will pose no problem.

In general lines, the Divine Masculine Healing Oracle is a timely addition to healers and male practitioners, especially. Those who have had negative experiences with masculinity, manhood, or direct interactions with men might also find guidance in the work of Christabel Jessica and Cecilia G. F. Simple, straight to the point, and full of beautiful art, this is a deck that shows the Sacred Masculine can be as nourishing as the Sacred Feminine.
